Sympathisers throng Alaafin of Oyo’s palace over death of Oba Adeyemi [PHOTOS]

Sympathisers have continued to throng the palace of the Alaafin of Oyo since the news of the death of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi filtered into the town.

Adeyemi died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.

Adeyemi ruled for 52 years before his demise, making him the longest-reigning Alaafin.

He was aged 82.

Meanwhile, the late monarch will be buried by 4pm after burial rites have been concluded, according to the Oyomesi.
